Greg & Amy Byrne, Owners
Greg's and Amy started Creekside Farms in 2008 with the intention of supplying friends and family with tasty Red Wattle and Duroc heritage pork. In the years since, their hobby farm has grown to supply many restaurants and butcher shops in the DC metro area.
Greg's interest in farming and food production has evolved over his lifetime, though a major influence was his childhood experience growing up in a part of New Jersey with both a dominant Italian food culture and enough natural resources to support Greg's habit of hunting, fishing, and food gathering.
Growing up in Virginia, Amy has a deep knowledge of traditional southern food-ways and loves cooking the rich, flavorful Heritage pork. Aside from her work on the farm, Amy owns and operates a full-time fine and decorative art conservation business.
